Dillon Hill is where design meets business.
Dillon Hill was approached by Chicago-based insurance broker Chris Jones to build a website to be the hub of insurance information, social media, and insurance quotes.
To kick off the project, the team at Dillon Hill began by conducting market research to understand the landscape of life insurance in Illinois and the target audience. Based on this research, we created personas and user journeys to inform the design process.
Next, the team at Dillon Hill worked on developing a brand style and began sharing inspiration with Chris.
Once the website style and Wordpress was chosen for the CMS, the team begin to bring the design to life. We imported an animation and began customizing the styling and images.
For navigation we went with a blog, learn more, about me, and form pages. As well as linked out to social media.
We were in constant contact with Chris to ensure all the steps we were taking and brand messaging aligned with the company's goals and objectives.
We wrote out some content, aligned on SEO strategy, and talked digital strategy for the company in acquiring customers.
With the design complete, we troubleshooted across mobile and desktop. Then we onboarded Chris so he could easily change the website content himself and access form submissions from his emails.
The end result was a website that was easy to navigate and provided a great user experience. The website received positive feedback from users and Chris was happy to have a professional site to send traffic to as we also continue organic growth strategies for him on top of our work.
